Medicare Supplement Plans in Florida

Plan B – Is the next step up from Plan A because it will also cover the $1,156 Part A deductible.

Plan C – One of the two Medigap plans in Florida that comes closest to plan F. It covers all the gaps in coverage except for any excess charges above the Part B excess charges.

Plan D – Provides the same coverage as plan C except that it also does not cover the Part B deductible

Plan F – The only Comprehensive Florida Medigap plan. It will cover all the gaps in coverage left by Part A and Part B. This makes it the most expensive of the supplemental insurance plans in Florida.

Plan G – The second of the two Medigap plans that come close to plan F. The only gap it does not cover is the Part B deductible. Many times the math works in favor of getting Plan G over plan F

Plan K – One of the two plans that have out of pocket limits. This plan covers all the gaps that Plan D does except for foreign travel emergencies, except that you have to pay 50% of the charges until you hit the out of pocket limit of $4,640.

Plan L – The second of the Medigap plans that has an out of pocket limit and just like plan K except that you pay 75% of the expenses up to an out of pocket limit of $2,320.

Plan M – Covers all the gaps that plan D does except that it only covers 50% of the Part A deductible.

Plan N – It is the only one of the supplements in Florida that has copayments. It is identical to plan D except that it has copayments of $20 for doctor’s office visits and $50 for emergency room visits.
